An "I Can Read" Film

Seems like more or less a scene-for-scene reshoot. What's the point? Do people really just hate subtitles that much? This is a serious question; I really don't know. Same goes for the upcoming Girl With The Dragon Tattoo remake.

In both cases, the originals are highly recommended and the Hollywood versions seem superfluous. Then again, superfluous is the name of the game in modern-day Tinseltown.
