NYE 2011 Playlist: The Preview

Over the past few years, it's become something of a yearly tradition for me to compile a New Year's Eve playlist. My general idea is to collect the more upbeat songs I've been jamming to that have come out over the past year. I think it's nice to have a little retrospective of what has passed our way as we say goodbye to 2011.

This year, I've strayed a little from my previous rule that all songs had to have been released in the current calendar year. Instead, I'm going with a looser interpretation with inclusions like "Nightcall" from 2011's Drive soundtrack and Andrea True's (1943-2011) "More, More, More".

A playlist this long in progress can't be contained by one night only. (Although it may shape up to be quite an epic night; more to come on this from Oh! Behold.)
