Kick Out The Jams, pt. 2

Zshare has apparently taken down my mixtape. Don't have access to the files at the moment; will put it back up as soon as I get a chance. In the meantime, here are 2 more from the vault.

Played a little bit with theme; juxtaposing Clipse lyrics with the easy synth and "black and blue" line, trying to create a little call-and-response effect from the female point of view. Not sure how well it works.



No greater themes here, just stumbled upon the auto-tuned Kanye vs. the Supremes beat and it worked. Second half is a little more forced; played with Estelle's pitch for some time but couldn't get it to sound quite right.
